Boekel advised Frans Nooren Holding B.V., owner of Stopaq B.V., inventor and manufacturer of patented visco-elastic technologies for use in corrosion prevention, sealing and insulation applications, on the € 50 million acquisition by the Berry Plastics Corporation. Berry Plastics (Evansville,Indiana) is a leading manufacturer and marketer of plastic packaging products with approximately 16,000 employees and a turnover of $ 5 billion. Stopaq will become part of Berry Plastics' Corrosion Protection Group. The integration of the two companies creates a unique product offering.
