Boekel advised Platinum Equity, a U.S.-based private equity firm, in connection with the sale of the Geesink Norba Group to the mutares AG group, a Munich-based listed industrial group.
Geesink Norba is one of Europe's largest providers of refuse collection vehicles, garbage trucks, and waste compactors, with plants in the Netherlands, Sweden, the U.K., and Romania, and sales offices in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. The sale was structured as a transfer of all of the equity in a Luxembourg holding company.
