Angelique Thiele has been a partner with Boekel De Nerée since
2006. Angelique heads the London office of Boekel De Nerée and
specialises in Dutch domestic and cross-border corporate, property
and project finance transactions, structured finance, loan
portfolio sales (commercial, bad bank) and debt restructurings.
Angelique is a well-recognised specialist in the field of Dutch
and cross-border secured finance transactions. Angelique has a PhD
in Dutch, English and German banking law. Angelique's book on
efficient structuring of security packages for different types of
cross-border secured finance transactions, involving varying groups
of financiers, including club loans, syndicated loans,
securitisations and repackagings is still considered to be one of
the main publications in this field ("Collective Security
Arrangements", Kluwer Law International, Amsterdam/London
2003). Angelique regularly publishes and lectures on this subject
to lawyers and bankers in the Netherlands, as well as abroad.
Angelique Thiele is frequently engaged by Dutch and foreign
banks and other financial institutions, (special) servicers,
investors and large and medium-sized companies, as a professional
negotiator and transaction manager in both Dutch and cross-border
finance transactions with a focus on leveraged, property and
project finance.
