Boudewijn Kanen is specialized in employment law, focusing on all aspects of that field (consultancy and litigation practice). In particular, Boudewijn advises in the field of employees' participation, corporate governance, remuneration of directors and senior management and (unilateral) amendments to employment conditions. Boudewijn represents both employers and employees. He also organizes lectures, workshops at employers and publishes on employment law subjects in journals and/or newsletters.

Boudewijn has successfully followed the Post-Academic Specialisation Course in Employment Law ('PALA') and is a member of the Amsterdam (VAAA) and national (VAAN) Employment Lawyers Associations, the Association of Employment Law (VvA) and the Assocation of Corporate Litigation.
