Carel Raymakers has considerable experience within all
contentious aspects of the aforementioned areas of law. He also
regularly dealt with disciplinary proceedings against free
professionals.
Carel has been practising both civil and criminal law since he was
admitted to the Bar in 1980. Carel Raymakers has received much
recognition in the Netherlands and abroad for dealing with high
profile criminal cases. His excellent reputation regularly leads to
referrals from civil lawyers, tax advisers and accountants in
complex fiscal and financial criminal cases.
Carel was acting dean of the Amsterdam Bar Association. He has a
broad experience as Deputy Judge of several district courts in the
Netherlands. Carel is substitute judge at the Court of Appeal for
Disciplinary Proceedings. Carel is also lecturer and examinator in
criminal law at the Dutch Bar Association and the Law Firm School
and he is member of the jury at the ICC Trial Competition in The
Hague.
