Kim van Haastrecht is an associate at Boekel, specialising in European and Dutch competition law. She is also experienced in the field of European law. Kim represents companies in cartel proceedings and reports mergers and acquisitions to the Netherlands Competition Authority and the European Commission. She also advises companies on all aspects of competition law.

Before joining Boekel in 2011, Kim worked at a Dutch law firm in Amsterdam and Brussels. She obtained a bachelor's degree in European Law at the University of Maastricht and an honors master's degree in Commercial Legal Practice at the University of Amsterdam. Kim also studied English and French law in France for one year.

She is a member of the VvM (Association of Competition Lawyers).
