Marian van Eck has been an attorney since 1996 and has worked at Boekel since 2000. Since 2005 she has been a Partner in the Employment Law practice group, which operates in the present-day corporate culture in an open and progressive manner. 

Her strength lies in thinking out of the box and finding creative solutions to complex issues. Her expertise is in particular in the fields of employee participation, transfer of undertaking, collective bargaining law, individual and collective dismissal law and Social Plans. She has a great deal of experience with questions regarding the relationship with works councils and trade unions.

Her clients largely consist of medium-sized to large companies. She has particular experience in the following sectors: chemistry and pharmacology, banking and insurance, and ICT. She also has a special interest and experience in the cultural sector.

Marian focuses in particular on the long-term relationship with her clients, who can count on her dedicated and continuous support in the event of industrial conflicts or questions of employment law. Marian acts as a sparring partner at the level of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. She works with an enthusiastic team of specialists.

Marian regularly publishes on a wide range of employment law subjects. She lectures at universities and trains HR managers and works council members. Marian is an editor of the Journal for Company and Labour and a Board member of Stichting Blijdesteyn (www.stichtingblijdesteyn.nl).
