Boekel advises the Dutch legal entity Healthcare at Home on the Dutch law aspects of the acquisition by Vitruvian Partners of a majority interest in its share capital. Healthcare at Home has around 1,000 employees and is one of Britain's largest providers of in-home medical care. The investment, along with GBP 100 million refinancing by RBS and HSBC, will enable Healthcare at Home to expand.

A team of competition lawyers, led by Boekel's Martijn van de Hel, has been involved in the termination of the NMa's (Dutch Competition Authority) investigation into the travel industry.
In early 2011, the NMa began an extensive investigation into possible antitrust violations in the travel industry, prompted by indications that tour operators and travel agents had agreed not to offer consumers any discounts with regard to travel sales, and to collectively boycot innovative online services that offer discounts.

Boekel has advised OCS Nederland B.V. (part of the OCS group) on the sale and transfer of certain assets and liabilities, including all of OCS Nederland's 650 employees, to CSU Cleaning Services B.V. Pursuant to this transaction, the OCS group has disposed of its Dutch cleaning activities and CSU has enhanced its position on the Dutch market.

Boekel advised Canadian company NOVA Chemicals on the sale of its stake in the joint venture company INEOS NOVA to INEOS Group, United Kingdom. Prior to this transaction, NOVA Chemicals and INEOS were each holding a 50-percent stake in the joint venture. INEOS has aquired all of NOVA Chemical’s shares and has become the sole owner.
